Trashy Talk at the Trump Rally?

We had short notice planning on the Trump rally visit to Nashville’s Auditorium in the downtown area.  Bros Tim Brown, Marvin Heiman, Kenneth Winslow and myself were able to get into the labor field of thousands of conservatives who were standing in long cold lines for hours and hours at a time in order to get into the general free admission offered by Trump. The line was 5-7 wide and went on for I guess about 8-10 city blocks and up and around a hilly area on the other side of the capitol.

Bro Marvin and I got there first, a little after noon, as I was concerned about the road closures and knew there would be people there in line waiting for President Donald J. Trump.  We were met with the usual angst from people who may have voted conservatively but don’t live in a manner that conserves their lives.  They love the liberality of living in their favorite sins.

Road closures started at noon with max security at 3:30 pm with the expected arrival window of President Trump sometime between then and 6:30 pm, his scheduled time to speak.   Originally, we thought we would want to preach to the head of the line but with the road closure we wouldn’t be able to get back up to the front if we opted to leap frog preaching to the end of the line.

Tim and Kenneth showed up about an hour after we started and began our two man, two team leap frogging of the line.  They quickly disappeared behind the bend of the roadway and a building as we labored to bring God’s Word to the attention of the carnal minds in line.  We found that we were going back and forth in the line as we dealt with various hecklers who would chase us down the line and then back up again.  Fortunately, we had a fence barrier between the Trumpers and ourselves.  Some of them really did not like the Bible scourging they were receiving.  We did find a few here and there that would give us a thumbs up, say we’re praying for you, keep going, etc very encouraging as we work to bring glory to Jesus.  Water in a thirsty land to the preacher of God, so to speak…Here is an email that I received the next morning, I was very blessed.

I enjoyed hearing you speak on the word of God at the Trump event in Nashville yesterday while I was in line. You have have reached a part of my soul that knows you are 100% right on what you say . God is going to Bless you for speaking the truth . Thank you   -Dorothy F.

We had noticed some of the Trump fans were looking across the street to point out the President as he stood across the street.  We knew it wasn’t really him, but an impersonator who would make his way down the line to where we were.   I was blessed to actually get an interaction going with him for 5-10 minutes which the crowd appreciated and I think the impersonator as well.   We talked about rich men, camels, eyes of needles, kingdom of God, and that nothing was impossible with God.  I met a young reporter who filmed the whole thing.  Here is a small clip of that interaction published nationally.  After this link is the full video Br. Marvin shot, he did great!

President du Faux Donald J. Trump Interview

We met Capt. Corman who was cordial to us as always and in a sense I think he enjoys listening to our work, except our admonitions to the Pope and the RCC.  He asked if we were needful of anything, assured our constitutional protections under the law, etc. and we said our goodbyes.  About an hour later a LT. from the police force informed us we would be in an exclusion zone where were standing.  We made a decision to catch up to Tim and Ken to discuss the matter.  As we traveled down the line we began to realize that this line was for block after block with no end in sight!  Praise Jesus!  We spoke to them to decide if we would preach the head or work the line.  We decided to work to the end of the line as daylight was burning and we didn’t think the multitudes would even make it to the auditorium to see the President.

Bros Tim and Kenneth took the lead and again they were soon out of sight around the bend.  We came out into an open area between the hill the state capitol sits upon with a huge grassy area and the Centennial Park beyond the line and the street.  We had been working the line and the listeners were complaining that the small 16 watt Radio Shack bullhorn was too loud, imagine that, eh? I was having some pretty heated discussion between a woman and her husband in line who were judging our preaching and telling us not to judge.  Well, just about that time the wind picked up and snapped our fiberglass banner pole with our gopro on it.  The crowd erupted in cheers and approval at this act of ‘God’.  I agreed with them that it was an act of God, maybe He didn’t want us to warn them anymore.  They became quiet, meanwhile Marvin worked to do a street repair on our pole. He used some electrical tape and within five minutes we had the banner resurrected!  No cheers but from two saints of God who gleefully lifted up His Word unto the sinners.  Keep in mind our camera is mounted to this as well along with a battery pack.  About that time the Lord pointed out this beautiful mount upon the grassy hillside that we advanced  in order to speak to thousands instead of tens at a time.  It was marvelous!  As the line slowly passed us they were getting a full 20 minute sermon which followed Tim and Kenneth’s previous preaching they had already given to these same people as they marched down the line.  We were there for a good three hours preaching from this hillside.  Keep in mind these folks had been standing in weather that felt like 24 degrees with the windchill for hour after hour after hour in the slowly progressing line.  The sun was setting and the shadows were consuming the line with cold.  Our position was well lit and warmed by God’s sun and kept us nicely until about 6:30 pm when we packed it up to head to the front of the line.  Here is a video of Marvin preaching His Sermon on the Mount:

We had planned to go and see the President and be a part of the rally.  We knew we would have to take our gear back to our car and return to the end of the line.  However, by this time we realized we would never make it in.  As we walked back up to the auditorium we spotted the small crowd of maybe 4-500 people protesting Trump’s rally.  Tim was pumped up and jumped right into the crowd.  I believed that we needed to get to the edge of the crowd.  We then could duck and move to new locations so they wouldn’t surround us and lovingly beat us up as I have seen these types do on many occasions.  The crowd consisted of tolerant BLM, FemiNazi, LGBTQ, Muslims, illegal immigrants, Demoncrats, etc..  They were immediately inflamed to surround and physically bully Tim.  We pulled back and chose a new spot, they did the same maneuver.  We played this game for about a half an hour and decided it was enough of a warning and didn’t want to cast any pearls before these swine.  We left and is another usual tactic they stalked us claiming they weren’t stalking us telling us to get out of ‘their’ town.  We warned them several times, and went to seek assistance from an officer when most of them realized the seriousness and backed off and continued on their merry rebellious way to hell.
In summary, this was a great preach!  I hope that the President continues to hold these things throughout his term.  They let the public know that He is real and wants to see good change for our country.  The Fake News outlets did their standard bites of anti Trump stew with pro libtarded ideologies promoted and approved of.  Lastly, I would exhort the saints to make it to these events even if you have to take the day off of work!  It was a fantastic opportunity to reach conservative people that 8 of 10 believe they are ‘Christian’ but can’t explain the Gospel, go figure.  God bless you all as you seek to do the will of our King!

Walking the Tightrope of the Holiness Way!
by John McGlone

UPDATE 1/30/17:  Recently, while preaching in Washington, DC at the inauguration I was approached by David Giro of LaCroix and Skelly’s preaching group.  He made the accusation  that our whole group and I needed to repent of our reviling and railing against sinners and that we are on our way to hell.   I will give more testimony on this sharp division caused by LaCroix & Skelly in the near future.

There have been multitudes of sharp divisions in the open air preaching community over words and behaviors that some, including myself, employ while preaching God’s Word and the Gospel to the lost in our world.  With that in mind I say with Paul that I praise God that the Gospel is preached!

Php 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: 16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Setting a Standard of Holiness in Speech and Conduct

With that said, I have wrestled with a standard for which I would govern myself according to the Holy Ghost in my open air work.  So, whatever motivates another brother to preach and how he preaches, I give God glory and thanks the Gospel is preached.  For myself, I must come to a place where I am obeying the Holy Ghost and what He is teaching me in these matters.

Here are some standards I am laying out for myself:
1.  I will use words from the KJV Bible(preferred) in context and applicability.
2.  I will use words that are scientific or biblical in regards to sexual sins or otherwise.
3.  I will limit the use of slang, inflammatory, or non biblical words which may unnecessarily incite hearers.
4.  I will seek to use primarily biblical type parables vs. parables that play to the imaginations of sin.
5.  I will not apply my standard to other people but pray they seek the Holy Ghost for a standard for themselves and walk according to His direction if they have not already done so.
6.  I will seek to check my heart toward the lost, both before, during and after a preach.
7.  I will seek to do the Lord’s will in all things even if men don’t understand or approve.
8. I will seek to be flexible on words or behaviors for weaker brothers or sisters I am working with.  Rom 14 [new add, 07/08/17]

I would ask the saints to comment below in regards to standards they think we should institute in personal evangelism.   If I find them biblical I will certainly add them to my list.

My Past Defense and Future Hope

My defense of using harsh and colorful words that offend in the past year has been that curse words come from a heart of cursing toward the sinners.  I think the best and simplest example of this is when we preach that sinners are on their way to hell and they need to turn and live.  On the other hand the sinners will turn around and say, Go to hell you effing stupid preacher.  Do you see the spiritual difference?  Both times the same ‘curse’ word hell is used, but the spirit by which they are said are completely different.

I think the Westboro Baptist Church(consistent Calvinists) actually hate the sinners with God from their view and want to see them destroyed.  So, if you hate the sinners and you are actually cursing them with death, hell, diseases, you need a heart check.

I know, I know, the trite statement that most sinners and all lukewarm ‘Christians’ say about God is, “God hates the sin, but loves the sinner.”  However, correct thinking about this issue is that God can hate both the sin and the sinner, He is the Creator.  We however, as fellow creatures of mankind, must hate the sin, and love the sinner according to Jesus’ commands and teachings.  However, King David cursed and hated God’s enemies, was this sin?

Ps 109:5-21 Thus they have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love. 6 Set a wicked man over him, And let an accuser stand at his right hand. 7 When he is judged, let him be found guilty, And let his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few, And let another take his office. 9 Let his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow.
Psa 109:10 Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; Let them seek their bread also from their desolate places. 11 Let the creditor seize all that he has, And let strangers plunder his labor. 12 Let there be none to extend mercy to him, Nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children. 13 Let his posterity be cut off, And in the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15 Let them be continually before the LORD, That He may cut off the memory of them from the earth; 16 Because he did not remember to show mercy, But persecuted the poor and needy man, That he might even slay the broken in heart. 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18 As he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, So let it enter his body like water, And like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be to him like the garment which covers him, And for a belt with which he girds himself continually. 20 Let this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, And to those who speak evil against my person. 21 But You, O GOD the Lord, Deal with me for Your name’s sake; Because Your mercy is good, deliver me.

Psa 139:20-24 For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain. 21 Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Is God’s eternal justice demonstrated at the throne of Jesus an act of love or hatred?  Most Christians will sheepishly answer they don’t know or understand how it could be love that God would burn and torment someone forever as Jesus taught in Mark 9:43-48

I do think there may be holiness preachers out there that could be ‘cursing’ sinners from their heart.  An actual desire to see people burn and suffer torment in eternal damnation.  This of course would be ungodly and must be forsaken for any who call themselves holiness preachers.  How do we judge each other on that issue?  Is it the tone, or particular words in particular order, a facial expression, or body language?  It is a heart issue, I think we can all agree so be careful when you judge the heart of another.  One way to be sure is to seek clarification, by asking the person their view.  Do you desire people to go to hell?  Does God desire that?  If God doesn’t want people to burn forever, then shouldn’t we line our hearts up with God’s?  In the future we will all agree that Jesus’ Judgments are righteous and true and we will all say Amen on that day to the everlasting damnation that God will mete out.  But, what about now?

My future hope is in Jesus who died for me and for you on the cross.  My future hope is that everyone who is active in the open air community will come to a civil and peaceable agreement on how we are to conduct ourselves towards; God, the saints, and sinners alike on these issues.  Let us not seek to fracture or divide but to understand and be united in the Holy Ghost.

Php_1:27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

1Th_2:4 But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:4-8)

Self Examination

In this whole arena of words and behaviors that varying holiness open air preachers use, we must ask ourselves and examine ourselves individually to see if our conscience is clear before the Holy God of the Bible.  Are these things sin to me?  Are they sinful to the hearers?  Are they sinful to God most importantly?  Is it my job to police every preacher on words and behaviors?  No, but I am my brother’s keeper.  If I am faithful to God I will want to keep the dialog open that we may refresh each other with the truth of what we think God has taught on these matters.  I would like to submit Rom 14 as a standard for those areas that we find to be doubtful.

megaphone

Ephesians 5:4– neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

Course jesting– greek word Eutrapelia: scurrility, ribaldry, low jesting

Ribaldry– mean, vulgar language; chiefly, obscene language

Vulgar– mean, rustic, rude, low, unrefined, pertaining to the common unlettered people

Obscene– offensive to chastity and delicacy; impure; expressing or presenting to the mind or view something which delicacy, purity and decency forbid

All of the above could certainly be subjective so we need to seek the Holy Ghost to ensure that we are not offending Him in any way with our preaching and ministry.  In my limited experiences I have found that being immersed in the filthy language and behaviors of sinners tends to cause us to harden our hearts toward them.  Rejection after rejection, repeating the wisdom from the Bible over and again can be very frustrating to say the least.  This is why we are called to long suffer brethren, this a a major fruit of the Holy Ghost.  Jesus was perfected in His sufferings.  Jesus was perfected?  Yes, He was completed by it, and we are called to suffer with Him.  Don’t you know how grieved He is by all the wicked things that you and I see in the open air?  This is just the tip of the iceberg of reality!  We see flashes of peoples lives, God sees everything!

Here is some good context for the above verse on course talk and jesting:

Eph 5:5-13 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

So here we see a list of people that will be condemned to God’s wrath, warning not to be a part of that, walk in the light as the Spirit leads, proving it.  Having no fellowship with these bad fruits of sin and reproving that!  Here is the real exciting part, it’s a shame to speak of these things of what sinners do in the dark, but the reproving of that is shown by the Holy Ghost reproving from within us and out of our mouths!

Prov 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

2 Timothy 2:23-25 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,

2 Tim 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Timothy 2:14 Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers.

1 Corinthians 5:11– But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Railer- One who scoffs, insults, censures or reproaches with opprobrious language.

Opprobrious– Reproachful and contemptuous language.

Here is where Jesus upbraided:

Mat 11:20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

So here we see our Savior exampling what to do to whole cities and even his closest disciples. But, these standard setting pontificating popes of the new open air movement know better than Jesus.  I do think that preachers can give an undeserved upbraiding, railing, or reproach to someone under their preaching.   This would be the danger for us all.  If we do so, we should immediately humble ourselves and ask to be forgiven.  But, to lump all rebukes, railings, and upbraidings under sin is to then to accuse Jesus of sin.  So, just as there could be unholy rebukes, there could be holy rebukes as well.  Adam LaCroix who has done a very thoughtful but erroneous teaching on this matter is spreading division and discord once again in the open air community.

I found this video of Br. Ruben Israel to be quite refreshing and challenging at the same time.  Warning, many offensive terms from the Holy Bible taught in this teaching.  If the German derivative of poo poo offends you, then you may not want to watch.

Here is a link to a document listing all of the verses Ruben uses in this teaching:

HARSH WORDS DOCUMENT

I have preached with Br. Ruben on some occasions and found he is one of the most humble men I know.  He has never used this sh$t word in his preaching while I have been with him.  I don’t think he uses it as a common term.  But, he makes a good point about the way the language is spoken and understood both in ours and different eras.  What do people understand and what language do they use, that we are preaching to?  Are we ashamed that God has spoken these harsh words through the prophets?  Was God too unloving and harsh with the wicked whore of Israel who had trampled His grace over and over again?

Eph 4:29-32 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth,

1 Peter 3:8-11– 8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Colorful Behaviors in the Open Air

What can and can’t we do as we preach to grab the attention of those who are lulled into the sin sick world in which we live?  This era is very difficult as the open air preacher battles; iphones, mp4 players with ear buds, tablets, computers, tv, music most of which is filled with gross sin which the carnal mind finds so attractive.   As Bro Jesse Morrell wrote of years ago, our preaching must be direct and pointy to the individual concerning their sin.  Granted their sin is a shame to speak of, yet we must uncover it and reprove it in order for their mind and heart to become concerned about their eternal destiny. This reality which will happen if they don’t repent often causes a great uproar to the listeners as they have never heard such things from any pastor or ‘Christian’ as they have experience them in our day.  Some will try and use Eph 5:4 in regards to coarse jesting as an evidence that some preachers go too far in their attention grabbing and sin.  But, again as I explained earlier keep reading the whole passage.  Telling dirty jokes to have ‘fun’ with the sinner or enjoy the thoughts of the sin described are not a motive of any open air preacher I know!  It is as Bro Jed has explained, “…a sinner is like a nice shiny brand new aluminum trashcan, looks good on the outside.  But, we want to rip the lid off of that vessel and dump all the filthy rotten contents out on the ground for all to see!” [not quoted from original source]

This is a great video on many fronts from Bro Jed Smock and Company.  It is challenging, edifying, and worthy of examination.  I warn you, you will find many extraordinary behaviors that most will criticize without ever having preached in the open air themselves.

2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

Titus 1:9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

Titus 3:2-3 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

Titus 3:But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Proverbs 12:17-There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword,  But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

Filthy Talk by Bro Cope

Proverbs 15:1– A soft answer turns away wrath,  But a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 18:23– The poor man uses entreaties, But the rich answers roughly.

Proverbs 20:3– It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel.

Proverbs 25:15– By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, and a gentle tongue breaks a bone.

Proverbs 26:4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also be like him.

In finality, this is just a good proverb to meditate on…

Proverbs 22:11– He who loves purity of heart And has grace on his lips, The king will be his friend.

Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Great video from Bro Jesse Morrell, a highly seasoned and excellent preacher of God’s Word, enjoy!

Lastly, my thoughts are for those of you who are lukewarm in this era, and thus are not even qualified to bring an accusation against those who are actively seeking those that are lost in sin.  Do you believe that Jesus will turn you away with the MOST judgement, because you knew what was right but weren’t willing to obey Him?   If you are not being a witness for Jesus, shame on you!  Repent of not loving Jesus and the lost.  Get from behind your keyboard and speak the truths of the Bible to those in darkness and sin.

May God bless you all as you seek Him for your standards of language and behaviors as you preach the truths of Jesus to a lost and dying world.

America in Distress! Flying Our Flag Union Down

downflag
Flying the Colors Union Down, July 4, 2016 Nashville, TN

by John McGlone

Today I took my retirement flag out of it’s case of 15 years, and flew it upside down at the 4th of July event in Nashville. This was a warning and sign of imminent danger and distress for our country. See subpara (a) It got lots of attention all day long as I knew it would.  However, I am not seeking to disrespect our country, flag, or people by doing so.

I am not a homosexual, socialist, or Muslim who was burning or stomping on our flag. I am a Christian American who served 21 years in the Navy, exercising my duty to warn my countrymen displaying our flag in a lawful manner. Not many know of this display, but I have handled the Ensign and Union Jack for our ships thousands of times. Ceremonies daily at 0800 every morning, sunset every evening, funerals, burials at sea, ship commissioning, decommissioning, gun salutes, etc…This display got lots of emotional tirades, some humble questions, and lots of thought provoking of careless Americans on one of our most celebrated of holidays in Nashville , TN where the week before the District Court was bathed in homosexual rainbow banners/flags flying high and ‘proud’.

Here are some of the reasons why God is angry with Americans and is judging our country:  1.  Abortion 60 million plus innocent babies murdered  2.Homo and Hetero Sexual perversions/approval  3.  Militant Feminism  4.  Destruction of the Family  5. Corrupt Goverment/politicians  6.  Wicked Educational, Medical, Social, and Financial establishments.  7.  Rejecting God and His Word in every area of our culture.

This demonstration of our union down as we fly ‘Old glory’  is a lawful way to display our flag as you can see here. I am warning, God’s JUDGMENT is about to fall. Homo and Hetero Sodomy is a threat to National Security! God firebombed Sodom and Gomorrah for these very things. We are putting our lives and property in dire danger and imminent distress of God wrath IF we don’t repent of our national and individual sins!

Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

(e) The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.

(f) The flag should never be used as a covering for a ceiling.

(g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.

(h) The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.

(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

(j) No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.

(k) The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.
(Added Pub. L. 105–225, § 2(a), Aug. 12, 1998, 112 Stat. 1497.)

This retirement flag which I received after 21 years of military service in the U.S. Navy had been flown over the U.S.S. Arizona if any know what that means and where that is…

Lastly a warning from Scripture for all you patriots out there:

2 Pet 2:4-22 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Instead of singing, “God bless America”, we need to start blessing God both in song and our conduct.  May God stay His hand of execution that we may repent as a nation and return to Him who establishes nations.

Celebrating the Blessing or Cursing of God

– July 4th, 2016

2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

During this patriotic season and celebration of the Independence of America, I am torn and conflicted in many ways.  I have my experiences, my family’s emigration, heritage and military service to it, our people, our ‘freedoms’ enjoyed by no other nation, our civil and Constitutional foundation and framework, the blood and lives of my countrymen shed and laid down for it, the traditions of our fathers, etc all come to a head and in conflict against concepts I see in the Bible.  America needs to become dependent on God once again.

What is the complete concept that is expressed in the previous passage from 1 Chr 7?  It is God speaking to Solomon, the wisest man/leader the world has ever seen about the condition of God’s land and people and what God would do in response the the people’s idolatry and if they fail to repent of their wickedness.  This nation that we live in has been greatly blessed by the Creator of the Universe because we have honored Him in the past with obedience to His law and statutes as a people.

2 Chr 7:12-22 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; 18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel. 19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. 21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? 22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

This word evil doesn’t just mean moral impurity, it also means destruction.  We know that God is morally perfect and pure so this certainly means of God’s willingness to bring destruction upon the people and the land with great consequences.  This is what is currently happening to America.  Our land which has been defiled with abortion, sexual deviations like homosexuality, bestiality, and pedophlia, divorce, pornography, fornication, corrupt politics, greed, and false teachers.  This has led us into not a backsliding from the faith once delivered to the saints, but is a moral and religious freefall where we see ‘churches’ marching in gay pride parades, approving, and promoting such wickedness even to the children where no standard of conduct is imposed upon anyone because ‘Christians’ have been lied to and convinced that judgment is not allowed in the aforesaid faith.  We can’t even examine or judge ourselves, according to them, though the Bible clearly teaches that we should.  See webpage here on CHRISTIAN JUDGMENT.

Isa 13:9-13 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Pro 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

When will our people learn that God is not fooled by our theologies, our pastors, our desire for secret sin, which are an abomination to Him?  We have churches filled on every corner, yet we can’t muster a squad of godly men in a city like Nashville, Louisville or even LA to carry the trumpet and banners of the Lord to the enemies of God.  We have churches filled with people who have made up a god for themselves.  His name is jesus christ.  He is another christ, another gospel which the Bible clearly warns against.

May God stay His Hand of Judgment, If my people will…
