First Church of Sinners

CMA Festival 2017 This is an Eric Church blasphemy tee that he will surely give an account to the Ancient of Days

“The New Testament knows no salvation while continuing in a state of sinful indulgence. Sin as a manner of life is always referred to in the PAST TENSE in Christians.

1Co 6:11
Such were ( past tense ) some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Eph 2:1
And you were ( past tense ) dead in your trespasses and sins,

Eph 5:8
for you were ( past tense ) formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light.

Tit 3:3
For we also once were ( past tense ) foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

Gordon Olson

SINNER or SAINT… It has been said many times by professing Christians ” I’m just a sinner saved by Grace ” It’s sad that the American pastors teaching has confused the masses with such nonsense. What they should be taught is ” We WERE ( past tense ) sinners saved by grace.

The word sinner in the Greek means, devoted to sin, not free from sin, especially wicked.

” In the NT. we are called 61 times ” Saints ” never sinners again. The word holy and Saint comes from the same Greek word ( Hagios ) which means the most holy thing, a Saint.

In 1 Peter 2:9, Peter explains what position the Saints are in.. You are a Chosen Race, a Royal priesthood, a Holy Nation ( in the Greek nation means group of people ) a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1Co 6:11
Such WERE ( past tense ) some of you; ( sinners ) but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

1 John 3:7-8… Those who practice ( those who do ) righteousness is righteous… ” A SAINT “….
Verse 8… Those who practice ( those who do sin ) sin is of the devil ” A SINNER “.
Scriptures makes it clear the difference between a Saint and sinner.
Practice in the Greek means who do sin or those who do righteousness..

If we value the sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s suffering for our sin on the cross, why do we revive the power of the serpent?

Hawaii – Missions History of the Islands People

Rainbow Falls, Hawaii

Henry Opukahai’a was an orphan raised by his uncle to be a pagan priest but he became disillusioned with rituals and chants.

He fled Hawaii in 1807 with his friend Thomas Hopu on the American whaling ship Triumph bound for New England.

They were befriended by Christian students at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, who instructed and prayed with them to become the first Hawaiian Christians in 1815, during the time of the Second Great Awakening.

Henry Opukahai’a studied Greek and Hebrew and attempted to translate into his native tongue the Book of Genesis and other parts of the Bible, though none this survived.

In his Memoirs, which sold 500,000 copies after his death in 1818, Henry Opukahai’a wrote:

“O what a wonderful thing is that the hand of the Divine Providence has brought me from the heathenish darkness here the light of Divine truth never had been.

And here I have found the name of the Lord Jesus in the Holy Scriptures, and have read that His blood was shed for many …”

Henry Opukahai’a
continued:

“My poor countrymen, without knowledge of the true God, and ignorant of the future world, have no Bible to read, no Sabbath.”

Thomas Hopu
met General Andrew Jackson, whom he accompanied to New Orleans.

Hopu fought the British during the War of 1812, resulting in him being perhaps one of the first Hawaiians to serve in the United States armed forces.

An excellent swimmer, Hopu saved several crewman after a shipwreck.

Five times he taken prisoner by the British in the West Indies.

Once starving in prison, African slaves gave him food and water, affecting Hopu to forever detest the enslavement of Africans.

Two years after Henry Opukahai’a’s death from typhus, Thomas Hopu went as a missionary withHiram Bingham and Asa Thurston back to theHawaiian Sandwich Islands, serving as their translator.

Hiram Bingham’s grandson, Hiram Bingham III, discovered the Inca city of Machu Pichu in 1908 and was elected Governor of Connecticut and a U.S. Senator.

Hiram Bingham IV was U.S. Vice Consul in France during World War II, where he helped 2,500 Jews escape internment camps of Hitler’s National Socialist Workers Party.

Hiram Bingham and Asa Thurston were sent to Hawaii by the American Board of Missions on the ship, Thaddeus, arriving at Kailua on MARCH 31, 1820.

The missionaries not only spread Christianity, but confronted drunkenness and vice which had been introduced into the islands by sailors, whalers, and convicts from Botany Bay.

The missionaries created a 12-letter Hawaiian alphabet and reduced the Hawaiian language to writing.

They translated the Bible, began a newspaper, set up schools and churches, and convinced the Hawaiian women to wear dresses.

In 1823, Betsey Stockton (1798-1865), a young African American woman, sailed with the second group of missionaries from New Haven, Connecticut, to Hawaii.

She had been been born a slave but was given her freedom.

A strong Christian, Betsey had attended classes at Princeton Theological Seminary before sailing to Hawaii.

She set up schools and taught islanders English, Latin, history and algebra. In two years, over 8,000 students attended 200 schools.

Idolatry and human sacrifice had previously been ended by King Kamehameha II and his Queen mother Ka’ahumanu.

Queen Kaʻahumanu and six high chiefs requested to be baptized in 1823.

She then banned prostitution and drunkenness, resulting in sailors resenting the missionaries’ influence.

Queen Ka’ahumanu helped spread the Gospel in the islands, beginning a ‘Great Awakening’.

She was presented with the newly completed version ofthe New Testament in the Hawaiian language just prior to her death.

Her last words were:

“I am going where the mansions are ready.”

The cousin of Kamehameha I,Chiefess Kapiolani, in 1824. defied the volcano goddess Pele by saying a Christian prayer, climbing down into the lava crater and returning unharmed, then eating the forbidden Ōhelo berries.

Chiefess Kapiolani then praised ‘the one true God’, proclaiming:

“Jehovah is my God. He kindled these fires. I fear not Pele. All the gods of Hawaii are vain.”

The son-in-law of Hiram Bingham was Titus Coans, another missionary to Hawaii.

Titus Coan’s account of evangelism is recorded in Life in Hawaii: An Autobiographical Sketch of Mission Life and Labors, 1835-1881 (NY: Anson D. F. Randolph, 1882, 49-52); and in Michael McClymond’s exhaustive work,Encyclopedia of Religious Revivals in America (2006):

“I set off Nov. 29, 1836, on a tour around the island … On reaching the western boundaries of Puna, my labors became more abundant … They rallied in masses, and were eager to hear the Word.

Many listened with tears, and after the preaching, when I supposed they would return to their homes and give me rest, they remained and crowded around me so earnestly, that I had no time to eat, and in places where I spent my nights they filled the house to its entire capacity, leaving scores outside who could not enter. All wanted to hear more of the ‘Word of Life.’

At ten or eleven o’clock I would advise them to go home and to sleep. Some would return, but more remain until midnight.

At cock-crowing the house would be again crowded, with as many more outside.

At one place before I reached the point where I was to spend a Sabbath, there was a line of four villages not more than half a mile apart.

Every village begged for a sermon and for personal conversation. Commencing at daylight I preached in three of them before breakfast, at 10 a.m.

When the meeting closed at one village, most of the people ran on to the next, and thus my congregation increased rapidly from hour to hour.

Many were ‘pricked in their hearts’ and were inquiring what they should do to be saved.

Sunday came and I was now in the most populous part of Puna.

Multitudes came out to hear the Gospel. The blind were led; the maimed, the aged and decrepit, and many invalids were brought on the backs of their friends.

There was great joy and much weeping in the assembly.

Two days were spent in this place, and ten sermons preached, while almost all the intervals between the public services were spent in personal conversation with the crowds which pressed around me.

Many of the people who then wept and prayed proved true converts to Christ; most of them have died in the faith, and a few still live as steadfast witnesses to the power of the Gospel …”

Titus Coan’s account continued:

“Among these converts was the High Priest of the volcano. He was more than six feet high and of a lofty bearing. He had been an idolater, a drunkard, an adulterer, a robber, and a murderer.

For their kapas, for a pig or a fowl he had killed men on the road, whenever they hesitated to yield to his demands.

But he became penitent, and appeared honest and earnest in seeking the Lord.

His sister was more haughty and stubborn. She was High Priestess of the volcano. She, too, was tall and majestic in her bearing.

For a long time she refused to bow to the claims of the Gospel; but at length she yielded, confessed herself a sinner and under the authority of a higher Power, and with her brother became a docile member of the church.”

This courage of High Chiefess Kapiolani inspired many Hawaiians to be missionaries to other islands, such asSamuel Kauwealoha, who sailed in 1853 to the Marquesas Islands.

American Minute – Notable Events of American Significance Remembered on the Date They Occurred

Rev. Samuel Kauwealoha planted churches and schools in the Marquesas Islands, and helped end cannibalism.

He was mentioned in Titus Coan’s 1882 missionary account Life in Hawaii, (Chapter 13, “The Marquesas Islands … The Hawaiians Send a Mission to Them”):

“The missionary at this station was the Rev. Samuel Kauwealoha, a native of Hilo, and a member of the Hilo church …

We landed on a beautiful beach of white sand, and walked half a mile through a charming grove of tropical trees, along the margin of a crystal brook …

We found Mr. Samuel Kauwealoha living in a stone house … all built by himself …

Here, amidst the shade of lofty trees, he was living with his devoted wife, teaching the children to read and write, and preaching ‘Christ our Life’ to 149 savages; and here, under the shadow of a towering tree, I spent one of the happiest Sabbaths of my life.

The almost naked and tattooed savages came out and sat quietly in semicircles under the tree, with the bright-eyed little children in front, all seeming to love their teacher, and to welcome the stranger, to whom they listened, Samuel Kauwealoha interpreting …”

Missionary Titus Coan continued:

“We had also a Sunday-school, where the pupils recited the Lord’s prayer and the Ten Commandments, with some other lessons, in tones and inflections of voice which were soft and melodious …

At 11 A.M. Captain Brown and his mate, Captain Golett, a good Christian man, who had commanded many a ship, came on shore with the crew of the Morning Star, and we had service in English.”

Another missionary from Hawaii to the Marquesas Islands was James Kekela.

The Marquesas Islands were first visited by American Maritime Fur Trader Joseph Ingraham on the brig Hope in 1791, who named them Washington Islands.

In 1813, Commodore David Porter claimed the islands for the United States, but the U.S. Senate never got around to ratifying it.

This delay gave time for France, beginning in 1842, to incorporate the Islands into French Polynesia.

In French Polynesia, missionary James Kekela wrote thatHawaii was fortunate to have become a possession of the United States rather than a possession of France:

“The French government is celebrating the 14th of July in Papeete, as America does on the 4th of July.

What Americans do to celebrate is to give speeches, worship God, do things to strengthen the body, and so on.

The French are pleasure lovers, acting as in the old days … the dances of Tahiti, Tuamotu, Rurutu, Tubuai, and Atiu…

What is done is like what the (filthy arioi?) did. It is a very painful thing for our eyes to behold, because all kinds of liquor are allowed on the tables on this day-beer, soda, wine, whiskey.”

In 1842, a 23-year-old American sailor namedHerman Melville was  on a ship that visited theMarquesas Islands.

Soon after, Melville wrote first book, a semi-biographical novel titledTypee: A Peep at Polynesian Life (London; New York: 1846).

Melville described how he and a companion deserted the ship Acushnet.

They stole up into the mysterious island mountains, waiting for their ship to depart without them.

His companion was injured as they descended a steep ravine into the Typee valley.

They were captivated by the sensual beauty of this island paradise until shortly after, his companion disappeared.

When Melville asked the natives what happened to his friend, they were strangely silent, leading him to conclude that he had been eaten.

The natives forbade Melville from going anywhere near the coast.

Nevertheless, three weeks later, Melville barely escaped with his life.

Melville wrote at the end of book Typee: A Peep at Polynesian Life:

“These disclosures will … lead to … ultimate benefit to the cause of Christianity in the Sandwich Islands.”

In 1864, James Kekela rescued an American seaman from death at the hands of angry cannibals in the Marquesas Islands.

In gratitude, President Abraham Lincoln sent James Kekela an inscribed gold watch.

Robert Louis Stevenson related the story in his book, In The South Seas when he visited the Marquesas Islands in 1888-89:

“During my stay at Tai-o-hae … a whole fleet of whale-boats came from Ua-pu … On board of these wasSamuel Kauwealoha, one of the pastors, a fine, rugged old gentleman, of that leonine type so common in Hawaii.

He paid me a visit … and there entertained me with a tale of one of his colleagues, James Kekela, a missionary in the great cannibal isle of Hiva-oa.

… It appears that shortly after a kidnapping visit from a Peruvian slaver, the boats of an American whaler put into a bay upon that island, were attacked, and made their escape with difficulty, leaving their mate, a Mr. Whalon, in the hands of the natives.

The captive, with his arms bound behind his back, was cast into a house; and the chief announced the capture to James Kekela …”

Robert Louis Stevenson continued, relating the story of Mr. Whalon’srescue from the cannibals:

“In return for his act of gallant charity,James Kekela was presented by the American Government with a sum of money, and by President Lincoln personally with a gold watch.

… From his letter of thanks, written in his own tongue, I give the following extract. I do not envy the man who can read it without emotion.

… ‘When I saw one of your countrymen, a citizen of your great nation, ill-treated, and about to be baked and eaten, as a pig is eaten, I ran to save him, full of pity and grief at the evil deed of these benighted people.

I gave my boat for the stranger’s life … It became the ransom of this countryman of yours, that he might not be eaten by the savages who knew not Jehovah. This was Mr. Whalon, and the date, Jan. 14, 1864.

(The seed of the Gospel) was planted in Hawaii, and I brought it to plant in this land and in these dark regions, that they might receive the root of all that is good and true, which is love.

1. Love to Jehovah. 2. Love to self. 3. Love to our neighbor.

… If a man have a sufficiency of these three, he is good and holy, like his God, Jehovah, in his triune character (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost), one-three, three-one … If he cherishes all three, then is he holy, indeed, after the manner of the Bible.

This is a great thing for your great nation to boast of, before all the nations of the earth …”

Stevenson continued quoting James Kekela:

“From your great land a most precious seed was brought to the land of darkness.

… It was planted here, not by means of guns and men-of-war and threatening.

It was planted by means of the ignorant, the neglected, the despised. Such was the introduction of the word of the Almighty God into this group of Nuuhiwa.”

Robert Louis Stevenson concluded quoting James Kekela:

“Great is my debt to Americans, who have taught me all things pertaining to this life and to that which is to come.

How shall I repay your great kindness to me?

Thus David asked of Jehovah, and thus I ask of you, the President of the United States.

This is my only payment-that which I have received of the Lord, love-(aloha).'”

Trashy Talk at the Trump Rally?

We had short notice planning on the Trump rally visit to Nashville’s Auditorium in the downtown area.  Bros Tim Brown, Marvin Heiman, Kenneth Winslow and myself were able to get into the labor field of thousands of conservatives who were standing in long cold lines for hours and hours at a time in order to get into the general free admission offered by Trump. The line was 5-7 wide and went on for I guess about 8-10 city blocks and up and around a hilly area on the other side of the capitol.

Bro Marvin and I got there first, a little after noon, as I was concerned about the road closures and knew there would be people there in line waiting for President Donald J. Trump.  We were met with the usual angst from people who may have voted conservatively but don’t live in a manner that conserves their lives.  They love the liberality of living in their favorite sins.

Road closures started at noon with max security at 3:30 pm with the expected arrival window of President Trump sometime between then and 6:30 pm, his scheduled time to speak.   Originally, we thought we would want to preach to the head of the line but with the road closure we wouldn’t be able to get back up to the front if we opted to leap frog preaching to the end of the line.

Tim and Kenneth showed up about an hour after we started and began our two man, two team leap frogging of the line.  They quickly disappeared behind the bend of the roadway and a building as we labored to bring God’s Word to the attention of the carnal minds in line.  We found that we were going back and forth in the line as we dealt with various hecklers who would chase us down the line and then back up again.  Fortunately, we had a fence barrier between the Trumpers and ourselves.  Some of them really did not like the Bible scourging they were receiving.  We did find a few here and there that would give us a thumbs up, say we’re praying for you, keep going, etc very encouraging as we work to bring glory to Jesus.  Water in a thirsty land to the preacher of God, so to speak…Here is an email that I received the next morning, I was very blessed.

I enjoyed hearing you speak on the word of God at the Trump event in Nashville yesterday while I was in line. You have have reached a part of my soul that knows you are 100% right on what you say . God is going to Bless you for speaking the truth . Thank you   -Dorothy F.

We had noticed some of the Trump fans were looking across the street to point out the President as he stood across the street.  We knew it wasn’t really him, but an impersonator who would make his way down the line to where we were.   I was blessed to actually get an interaction going with him for 5-10 minutes which the crowd appreciated and I think the impersonator as well.   We talked about rich men, camels, eyes of needles, kingdom of God, and that nothing was impossible with God.  I met a young reporter who filmed the whole thing.  Here is a small clip of that interaction published nationally.  After this link is the full video Br. Marvin shot, he did great!

President du Faux Donald J. Trump Interview

We met Capt. Corman who was cordial to us as always and in a sense I think he enjoys listening to our work, except our admonitions to the Pope and the RCC.  He asked if we were needful of anything, assured our constitutional protections under the law, etc. and we said our goodbyes.  About an hour later a LT. from the police force informed us we would be in an exclusion zone where were standing.  We made a decision to catch up to Tim and Ken to discuss the matter.  As we traveled down the line we began to realize that this line was for block after block with no end in sight!  Praise Jesus!  We spoke to them to decide if we would preach the head or work the line.  We decided to work to the end of the line as daylight was burning and we didn’t think the multitudes would even make it to the auditorium to see the President.

Bros Tim and Kenneth took the lead and again they were soon out of sight around the bend.  We came out into an open area between the hill the state capitol sits upon with a huge grassy area and the Centennial Park beyond the line and the street.  We had been working the line and the listeners were complaining that the small 16 watt Radio Shack bullhorn was too loud, imagine that, eh? I was having some pretty heated discussion between a woman and her husband in line who were judging our preaching and telling us not to judge.  Well, just about that time the wind picked up and snapped our fiberglass banner pole with our gopro on it.  The crowd erupted in cheers and approval at this act of ‘God’.  I agreed with them that it was an act of God, maybe He didn’t want us to warn them anymore.  They became quiet, meanwhile Marvin worked to do a street repair on our pole. He used some electrical tape and within five minutes we had the banner resurrected!  No cheers but from two saints of God who gleefully lifted up His Word unto the sinners.  Keep in mind our camera is mounted to this as well along with a battery pack.  About that time the Lord pointed out this beautiful mount upon the grassy hillside that we advanced  in order to speak to thousands instead of tens at a time.  It was marvelous!  As the line slowly passed us they were getting a full 20 minute sermon which followed Tim and Kenneth’s previous preaching they had already given to these same people as they marched down the line.  We were there for a good three hours preaching from this hillside.  Keep in mind these folks had been standing in weather that felt like 24 degrees with the windchill for hour after hour after hour in the slowly progressing line.  The sun was setting and the shadows were consuming the line with cold.  Our position was well lit and warmed by God’s sun and kept us nicely until about 6:30 pm when we packed it up to head to the front of the line.  Here is a video of Marvin preaching His Sermon on the Mount:

We had planned to go and see the President and be a part of the rally.  We knew we would have to take our gear back to our car and return to the end of the line.  However, by this time we realized we would never make it in.  As we walked back up to the auditorium we spotted the small crowd of maybe 4-500 people protesting Trump’s rally.  Tim was pumped up and jumped right into the crowd.  I believed that we needed to get to the edge of the crowd.  We then could duck and move to new locations so they wouldn’t surround us and lovingly beat us up as I have seen these types do on many occasions.  The crowd consisted of tolerant BLM, FemiNazi, LGBTQ, Muslims, illegal immigrants, Demoncrats, etc..  They were immediately inflamed to surround and physically bully Tim.  We pulled back and chose a new spot, they did the same maneuver.  We played this game for about a half an hour and decided it was enough of a warning and didn’t want to cast any pearls before these swine.  We left and is another usual tactic they stalked us claiming they weren’t stalking us telling us to get out of ‘their’ town.  We warned them several times, and went to seek assistance from an officer when most of them realized the seriousness and backed off and continued on their merry rebellious way to hell.
In summary, this was a great preach!  I hope that the President continues to hold these things throughout his term.  They let the public know that He is real and wants to see good change for our country.  The Fake News outlets did their standard bites of anti Trump stew with pro libtarded ideologies promoted and approved of.  Lastly, I would exhort the saints to make it to these events even if you have to take the day off of work!  It was a fantastic opportunity to reach conservative people that 8 of 10 believe they are ‘Christian’ but can’t explain the Gospel, go figure.  God bless you all as you seek to do the will of our King!

#GoTrump Outreaches in Washington, D.C.

Trumpability

History made in Wash. DC to Lift up Jesus!

God had lead a team of godly holiness preachers to go out to the millions of people that would gather at the inauguration of President Elect Donald John Trump.  Very exciting to prepare to return to my home stomping grounds as I was born and grew up in Northern VA.

Day One – Travel and Cincy Basketball

I traveled north to Cincinnati to join John Williams, Josh Borchett, Quincy Annatello, and R.D. Christian.  From there we would head to DC and join about a dozen other preachers that were being hosted by a holiness church in Springfield, VA.   While waiting for R.D. to come in we decided to go to the Univ of Cincinnati and preach at a playoff game.  We preached there for a few hours, headed to the airport, then off to DC!

Day Two – #PizzaGate & Islamic Center of Wash., D.C.

We arrived the next morning and joined the men for a fellowship breakfast, then off to our first event in the area.  We decided to preach at #CometPizza which is a homo pizza shop which promotes pedophilia according to many reports in the social media.  We would preach at this place three times during our stay in DC with the police doing a great job every time.  I have uploaded the last outreach as it was the craziest of all.  You can view that here:

DEMON POSESSED PEOPLE Outside of DC’s #CometPongPong #CometPizza #PizzaGate #pedogate NOT #fakenews #MCM #Gay #LGBT https://t.co/dcIxreV6NE

When we went to #Pizzagate #CometPizza #Pedogate it was not open.  They don’t open until 5 pm which is really weird because pizza joints could make lots of money between 11am – 5pm but this place really isn’t about making profit from pizza.  We stayed for about an hour and left to go to the biggest Mosque in the area.  You can see some of our work here:

Day Three – Inauguration of Donald John Trump as the President of the U.S. in Washington, D.C.

From the metro subway travel all the way downtown we could just sense the excitement in the air.  I was thrilled to hand out many thousands of good gospel tracts over the course of five days.  You can see our ministry tract here:

Free Gospel Tract Download, Etc.

inauguration

Outreach to the Inauguration went great as Br. Ruben Israel picked out the perfect spot for us to preach at the main gate of the event.  We had marched directly to the front past all the security points with our banners, shirts, and bullhorns and got this great spot situated between two buildings, no background noise and two lines 6 people wide that were slowly moving by.  It is reported that these lines were tens of blocks long, I was so thankful that we had the Lord’s favor to get this area.  We surely preached to hundreds of thousands as they streamed past us in very slow security lines.  This lasted from about eight hours before the lines crowds dissipated about 4 pm. Then we headed to Le’Enfant Metro Plaza food court.  Two of us had gotten separated but Uncle Ruben was great guiding us back to the squad of soldiers for Jesus.  We sat down and within minutes an angry loud mouthed black woman started trouble with a preacher who wouldn’t back down.  The police were called and she was shooed away.  We had a nice meal, got some rest and headed back to our lodgings before heading out to #Cometpingpong and those weirdos for a second night of spiritual attack into the darkness of that place.  Long days of great battles really fatigue my body and yet energize my soul for the lost to be found in Jesus!

Day Four –  A Half a Million Pussy Hat Wearing Radicalized Feminazi Lesbians!

The next day on Saturday the 21st of Jan, we preached the #Womenswalk which were those representing reproductive rights aka baby murder, #BLM rights aka police murder, LGBTQ rights aka self murder by perverted sexual activity, Muslim rights aka a everybody murder by peaceful religion.  Here you see Sister Onica doing a great job scourging the hundreds of thousands of feminist lesbians who are contrary to God’s Word and will for their lives.

Day Five – Going Into Three Temples of Doom

Sunday we hit three churches and went inside and rebuked two out of the three.  Here is one I went inside of:  Click Here for Covenant Baptist Church Outreach in Wash. DC
This ‘church’ is Homo-Abortion Affirming

A story that really stuck out in my mind at the second church was a young black woman across the street named Jasmine.  She had a big bandage on her forehead and one eye was blackened, and swollen shut.  I asked her what happened and she related she just got out of the hospital because her boyfriend had bitten her in the eye the night before.  We prayed together that Jesus by His stripes would heal her wound but more importantly that she would surrender to Him and be healed of all of her spiritual wounds unto salvation.  She was very humble as she took a tract, thanked me, and told me she would read it.  Maybe God had us there just for her!

We decided to relax after that and do some touring around DC. We saw the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the mall, and lastly we went the other end of the mall.  There were still many tens of thousands of pink pussy hats all over the city.  When we went to the Lincoln Memorial guess what happened…:

Great trip praise the Lord for all the soldiers who endured to come;  Ruben Israel, Jim Gilles, Jesse Morrell, Pastor Aden, Amar, Kevin, Chelsea, Quincy Annatello, John&Onica Kranert, Joshua Borchert, R.D. Christian, John Williams, Isidro, Vijay Pisani, Daniel Rusk, and myself.  I praise God for you all and thank you so much for all the wonderful time together both in battle and in fellowship.  God bless you.  Oh, did I forget to mention that  Official Street Preachers  organized this event?

False Accusations at Middle Tenn State U – Murfreesboro, TN

We were falsely accused of many things by most of the students on the Middle Tenn State University during our outreaches there recently.  My responses are outlined in the following letter to the editor in the weblink below.  These false allegations by the MTSU students reveal the bigotry and bias of the students against God, His Word, the Truth, and the preachers.

Here is the original story filled with false allegations.  The Lord compelled me to address this properly so that others including faculty and students who may not have attended the two days of meetings could get a better understanding of what happened.

South Cali in January!

Praise the Lord I was invited to come to beautiful sunny Southern California to preach by Br. Doug McComb who graciously hosted me, Jesse Morrell and Joshua Collins.  I arrived with Jesse at LAX on Friday night.  We began our work on Saturday in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, which I term Hellyweird.  We also worked with Manuel and his son there as well.  We saw another group of preachers who were in and ideal location so we sought another.  Good preaching for few hours, then had dinner, and rushed out to Old Town Pasadena on Saturday night to work with R.D. Christian, Mikhail Savenko, and Jonathan Murelles.  Good work for the Lord Jesus’ glory, headed back to our hotel.
On Sunday, Jesse spoke at two different Filipino churches and gave excellent exhortations to personal witnessing, and evangelism.   The congregations came forward to seek God about these things in prayer, the Holy Ghost was moving.  We will see how they progress shortly, pray for their courage and for all believers to rise up and give a defense of Jesus in this wicked day.

Monday morning we went to Pasadena City College first day of classes.  We had a blast with thousands hearing the truths of God presented in a way that keeps their attention and provokes their thinking.  When we first arrived I tracted the long lines to register to class, I must have given over 300 tracts to the students during the day.  This is one of my favorite new tracts called, “Does God Hear You?”

GMFC-Does-God-Hear-Tract-Front-350x200

What is so fantastic about these tracts are that 100% of the proceeds go to help missions overseas to widows, and orphans.

Here is a video of Joshua Collins of him witnessing one2one to a Muslim:

Tuesday morning we headed back out to Pasadena City College!

Day Two at PCC went well but was much shorter.  Doug and Joshua preached first drawing some interest.  I took over and began rebuking loudly crying out against the wickedness of this generation which has been so influenced by the previous two’s filthy dirty death styles.  I began to get some interest after dialogue with a very confused tranny homosexual who thought what I was saying was funny.  I preached for about an half an hour drawing about fifty or so lost souls.  I called on Jesse as I felt I was losing what had been gained through disruptions of Christians within the crowds in small groups.  Sure enough his prowess at pithy pointy preaching began to swell the crowd to a few hundred in just a short time.  He preached for about an hour and was interrupted by latino amplification and dancing on the quad.   We tried a small waist amplifier but the administration was asking us not to interfere with that and that we could move to the other end of the quad.  I initially didn’t want to move, but thankfully we did.  Jesse took a break as he wasn’t feeling well.

Joshua Collins and I decided to scope out the other end and see what the Lord would do.  We surveyed everything, talked about acoustics, choke points, shade, seating for the hearer, directing preaching at individuals, dialogue, and maintaining a particular direction in preaching so hearers would gather where it would make sense.  He began to preach, within a few minutes he began to have hecklers, he handled himself very well. I was trying to prompt him, and get animated in the crowd.  I haven’t normally haven’t practiced tag team preaching, but we did a bit of that as the Lord was leading me as well.  It was a lot of fun and I believe the Spirit was pleased.  Joshua finished up after about 40 minutes and I took over for about 10, a free taco hawker stole most of my crowd.

We called it a day as we had to go and do a couple of tv shows for public access TV in Monrovia.  Doug McComb was our host on the show called One to One.  The first show featured Jesse, then the second Joshua and myself.  We had a great time speaking on what the Lord is doing in our ministries, how to open air/witness, answering objections, and giving a Gospel presentation/exhortation to the lost and the churches of Monrovia.

Please pray for us as we head out to Cal Poly Pamona today with other brothers who are in the area to lift up the Name of Jesus Christ, thank you!  I will make another report tomorrow, so please keep checking back.  Thank you.

Wednesday, we ran late and ended up getting to campus about noon thirty.  Ryan and Mikhail had already drawn a crowd of about 50 or so.  We needed to get registered with the admin to work on this huge campus with beautiful vistas of snowcapped mountains and palm trees at the entrance.  Unfortunately, a few of our preachers did not have ID’s with them so they weren’t able to preach at all.  Very discouraging for them to experience, but a lesson to all who would desire to do this type of work.

Mikhail’s Preach at Cal Poly Panoma

Ryan’s Preach at Cal Poly Panoma

Ryan’s crowd grew to over a hundred, Mikhail asked me to come and break Ryan.  I thought Jesse would do better but was willing.  I took over and was just not able to get the crowd engaged very well.  After about 40 minutes asked Jesse to relieve me.  I had a divine appointment with a young Roman Catholic named Salvador, we spoke for about a half an hour, then he wanted to hear from the preacher.  He listened carefully to Jesse for about an hour and came back to me.   I worked with him carefully giving him seven reasons why the Roman church was the whore of Babylon.  I gave him verses to support my arguments, I was really pleased with the interaction.  I believe the Lord had already been drawing him, he just needed some more evidence in regards to the traditions of his fathers.  Pray for him please.

I went down to a small amphitheater on my own to try and draw a small group for discussion.  I was only there for about ten minutes before the Lord led me to walk with a young black man to speak to him about #blacklivesmatter and the infanticide of black children in neighborhoods all over the country by Planned Parenthood.  As I was speaking to him bluntly about folks acting like dogs having sex, without the responsibility of marriage and family, an older black man got offended thinking I was calling black people dogs.  To wit, he got angry and called me a dog.  Go figure.  We packed up our day and headed back for a meal with our host home.  Praise Jesus.

Please pray for us tomorrow as we go to Pasadena City College for the third time this week.  I really enjoy multi day visits to a particular campus.  I think it really builds rapport to make good spiritual headway on a particular university.  Then Friday, Jesse and I will be off to LAX for a very early morning departures to head home to our families.  Thanks for your prayers saints!

Pretty Lights Music of Helloween at Descend Amphitheater

Preaching to Wicked Sinners
Nashville, TN Oct 31,2015

Praise the Lord we were able to preach at the new Ascend Amphitheater for the Pretty Lights Show on Halloween 2015.

Pretty Lights Show

We first preached this at the Old Nashville Auditorium about four years ago.  This time we had my sons Daniel and Seth, Jimmy Miller, the Heiman family, the Kowalski family, Tim the Baptist and his son.  Praise the Lord what a crew!

Outreach Photos

The weather was rainy initially but as the daylight dimmed the rain stopped!   The crowds were slow but steady for the first hour.  But, as the evening progressed we had thousands stuck in a cattle security gate which was taking lots of time for us to preach Bible truths to them, it was fantastic!

We had intended to preach for a few hours, but ended up staying until about 8:30 pm almost four hours!  The crowds of people would not let up. Praise Jesus!

Imagine having people flowing past you hundreds at a time.  They mocked, blasphemed, and hated the preaching and you.  Then 50 feet from you they fell off an invisible cliff, you hear the screams, you see the flames and smoke shoot up. Then the next group of sinners come by and do the very same thing!  Then once in a while someone steps off the broad path to destruction and asks good questions, gets prayers, and few even repent!
This is what we are called to do saints, REACH OUT!  The time is short, the night draws near, when our King will come back on very dark clouds, with lightning announcing His arrival to destroy the inhabitants of the earth!  Do you believe this???

Daytona Beach Spring Break Preaching…

03/07/10

This is our third year in a row that we have done a week long mission trip to Daytona Beach.  The first two years was with Jesse, Kerrigan and I, this year Tracy has been added to the front lines.  This year we confirmed when the most populace week of spring break.  We arrived in Daytona Beach after 12 hours of driving to the mission.  We were a bit tired and got settled. Praise the Lord for Kerrigan’s grandfather, Mr. Kelly who allows us to use his great condo just minutes from the beach every year.  Jesse called to meet us out at the clubs after they got done eating.  We waited for a bit and decided to go and meet them there.  We noticed it was a bit slow, but walked around and noticed a lot of people at Aqua.  We decided to set the preach up there.  Kerrigan began and immediately we had lots of mockers and scoffers.  The bouncer we see every year went and got his motorcycle parked it in front of us while revving it to try and drown out the preaching.  But, the Lord led me to get my PA and hook it up in series with Kerrigan’s and we trumpted the gospel despite his wicked suppression of the same.  I told him later he was no spring chicken and he would be facing my King soon and that my witness was true.  We preached for over two hours, hundreds heard and mocked, some were under conviction, and we had some good one2one’s despite the devils who were acting lawlessly.   There was lots of physical threats especially from the young military crowd whom we see every year and exhort them to stop their warmongering.  One young man who got into my face a dozen times, finally calmed down enough for me to bring the truth to his mind and heart.  He immediately left with his friends, praise the Lord for His Word.  After a few hours of this we decided to call it a night.  Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to meet up with Br. Jesse and Raven ministries.

More to come soon.  Please pray for us, thank you.

John

03/08  a.m.

I awoke early for reading, prayer, and my usual walk on the beach.  Daytona Beach has a great flat walking beach with nice firm sand.  I really miss my bride and children during these times.  It was a beautiful sunny day, with a light breeze I handed out a few dozen tracts and talked with a half dozen people.  A few notable interactions I would ask you to pray for:  1. Ray who resides on the beach and I have seen him two years in a row at the same place.  2. Catherine who is the toll agent for the vehicles driving on the beach.  Ray told me the same thing last year that he had been prayed for by the Christian racing club on many occasions.  I kept bringing him back to the gospel and urging him unto repentance.  He seems to believe he is saved and on the surface it seems so.  But, he will throw out unbiblical thoughts so often he needs to seek the Truth in Christ.  Catherine is a Roman Catholic by tradition but rejects many of the wicked practices of the church.  I exhorted her to seek God while He may be found and not be satisfied with the teachings or assurances of men.

After returning to the condo, we decided to get going to the daytime preach.  We almost always set up right behind the Beach Shoppes a beach mall of sorts that connects to the public parking lot in Daytona.  We arrived at the public boardwalk about 11 am to find that the boardwalk was in the process of almost being completely renovated.  The benches we usually stand on to get elevation to preach were gone!  We had a hard time deciding where to preach.  This is probably one of the most important decisions a preacher needs to make.  We consider the following when making that decision:

  1. Where is the natural flow of people? 2. Where are the manmade or natural gateways through which people flow?  3.  Wind direction and speed, which will cast or diminish your voice.  4. Is there anywhere for people to sit or congregate?  5.  Are there any outdoor eating areas?  6.  Are there any groups of people there already and why?  7.  Is there any shade in which the listeners or preacher can take cover?  8.  Are your listeners looking into the sun while you preach?

These are things we look for when making our decision to preach.  Jesus went into a boat upon the water to preach to people.  Why?  He was providing some separation from himself and the people and the natural amplification of the water is amazing.  We decided to preach in between our usual spot at a gateway from the plaza unto the boardwalk and some other elevation about 100 feet away.  Tracy preached first, getting a few hecklers, for just over an hour.  Then we decided to move closer to the gateway to illicit a better response from the people.

We should always be preaching for the glory of God and if He brings listeners to enjoin us, Hallelujah.  We were not able to draw too many to engage us in discourse but people were hearing despite their suppression of God’s Word.  Hundreds heard the truth whether they liked to hear from Jesus today or not.  Often we are accused of pushing Jesus upon them by other professing Christians and the lost.  Well, actually this is exactly what Christ commands us to do.  What you have heard whispered in the ear, SHOUT from the housetops!  We are to compel them to come in to the house of the Lord.

Kerrigan took over the preaching and we were able to get a few good sized crowds of a hundred or so.  We see that hecklers or discourse with an atheist or drunkard will draw people to the preacher.  Kerrigan has become an excellent apologist for the faith.  He uses pre-suppositional apologetics to destroy the worldview of the lost and show it as foolishness.  Open air preaching is God’s proven and approved method of evangelism, though the ‘church’ and the world hates to hear of it.  I care not for the flatteries of men, but only the approval of my King.

Brothers Jesse, Troy, Scott, and some others from Raven Ministries International joined us for the work.  Bro Jesse preached toward the sinners on the beach and stirred up a good crowd of 150 or so that a beach patrol officer came and advised us we could not use the PA and stir up a crowd to ‘rioting’.  I explained that the law allows for religious speech amplified and that the police would have to control the crowd verses shutting down the preaching.  He smiled, professed his Christianity, and left.  Unfortunately, he did not stick around to enforce what we talked about.

I preached for a short while pleading with sinners to get right with God and trust the Savior.  I used the band shell to catch my voice and amplify it into the mall area.  It is very effective as the mall thoroughfare catches that preaching into all the restaurants and shops.  We wrapped up and went home and had a great time of therapy in the hot tub at Kerrigan’s grandfather’s condo.  They had just installed a brand new one that was deeper, hotter, and more air jets.  It was just the prescription from the Lord for my weary bones.  Preaching the gospel is not only spiritually draining but physically as well.  We find that will we are in the middle of the battle, God supernaturally provides the strength.  As soon as we leave the field our weaknesses are revealed.  We had a nice Mexican chicken casserole that Angela had made.  Our brides are so loving they made us nice casserole meals that they froze that we could have hot homemade meals all week long.  I praise God for Nida and Angela!

03/08 p.m.

After dinner, we rested, prayed and went back out about 10 pm.  Tracy started preaching across from Razzel’s with a half mile hailer.  It was very loud and effective at piercing the loud music and hard hearts of the sinners that were lined up for the sin they were planning to do.  We quickly came under a barrage of physical attacks by the ‘loving’ sinners who were so intolerant of our preaching and methods.  The police had to be called and two men were charged and cited with battery.  These police were great and really took charge of the situation.  The half mile hailer that Raven let us borrow was ruined in the attack.  We decided that two would return the hailer to the car and Jesse and I would stay out and preach at Aqua’s another club around the corner.  Tracy and Kerrigan left and Jesse and I began to walk to the club, we did not make it 150 feet before we were surrounded by a group of venomous sinners who justified their sin, unrightly judged us, then hypocritically condemned our pleas for them to turn or burn.  Some time later, Bro T and K returned and joined in what had become a fiasco.  One very notable issue was a ‘Calvinist’ drunkard who assaulted all of us, many times, broke my camera, and stalked us back to our car.  We did not return all the way of course, and he would not let Tracy leave.  He became very vile and violent, and we called the police.  They showed up in a few minutes, the perpetrator was there. The police put the spotlight on him, then told him twice to leave.  We were astonished as we were telling them that was them man that assaulted all the while getting the sinner protection from the law.  We asked them what they were doing and they stated they did not see anything, and if we were physically hurt.  We replied no, but that we wanted to press charges.  These police were so wicked we must report them to their supervisors.  Where lawlessness abounds the hands of the sinner is strengthened.

03/09 pm

We met Jesse and family on the boardwalk about 2pm preaching from the small public park on the boardwalk in beachside of the Hilton hotel.  Kerrigan preached for awhile and we did not stir much interest and decided to move back our usual gateway in Daytona.  We got there and Kerrigan led off the day and gathered a good sized crowd of 150 or more.  He used three proud, drunk, wicked men to draw interest in the preaching. They continually talked of their masturbation even in front of women and children, they were wicked.   They boasted that they had drawn the crowd, Kerrigan then corrected them saying that God used them for our purposes.   After Jesse preached, I got an opportunity to lift up God’s word to the people.  I had one young man who was very focused on my ‘no porn’ button and asked if he could have the same.  I told him if he was a nice sinner, at the end of the day I would give it to him.  This dialogue with him enabled me to get some good interaction and discussion going about moral issues.  We love to proclaim the truths of the Bible in this type of venue.  Most get quiet and they will begin to raise their hands, if someone interrupts or gets rude I will not speak with them anymore.  This helps to control the crowd and keeps them from machine gunning the preacher with questions.  Many times it seems that they don’t want the answer.  Though at other times I believe they get excited and are trying to engage their minds with many concepts they have never heard before, either in home, school, or their churches.  While beach preaching we do lots of reproving of immodest dressing of the women and their strings that they call clothing. 1 Tim 2:9-10

After I preached I had some great interaction with a young man who was under heavy conviction about his sin.  He was a Roman Catholic who did not like Christian judgment.  I explained some verses and asked that he write or call me.  As the day was winding down, Jesse asked if we could have dinner together.  I am so appreciative of time with the Morrell’s getting to talk with them and hang out with their cute baby, Elizabeth.

03/09 pm

We left and went to Pizza Hut for dinner meeting with Bro Jesse, Krista, and Elizabeth.  We were even heckled inside Pizza Hut from sinners who had heard preaching earlier this day.  Hallelujah, we got to preach to them again!  They began by laughing and making snide comments about the Bible after they were done eating.  This escalated and we ignored them while we ate our food.  We finished our meal and I went to pay the cashier, they began asking us questions and pointing out that one of them was attending Mt. Dora Bible College here in FL.  Kerrigan gave him a great verse about coming out from amongst them and touching no unclean thing.  I believe it was just the right scripture prescription for this young man.  He was one of the chief mockers during the daytime preaching.  We departed exhorting many in the restaurant to get right with our Lord.

We went to file a complaint against the two unlawful police officers from the night before after our meal.   We went to the beach station and talked with a Lt. Pera and Sgt. Webber, they were very accommodating and assured us our protections.  It was a really good interaction with them and we decided we would not want to either press a complaint against their officers or the young man that assaulted us the night before.  We understand their forces are overwhelmed during this time of sin assaulting their fine city and desired to save them some work with all the paperwork and documentation.  This seemed to really change their countenance and I believe garnered favor with them.  I had sent our PinPoint Evangelism pre event letter to the Police Chief and the Mayor the Friday before we left.  I am so thankful that we did as this document is instrumental in assuring our civil rights are protected.  We returned to the condo, for a bit of rest and recuperation before hitting the streets earlier than we have in the past.

Earlier in the day, we had seen a plane flying a banner about a ‘Girls Gone Wild’ event across the intercoastal waterway at the Coliseum.  We talked about it and decided just to go to Razzles early and call it a night after a few hours.  We got there preached to a few but realized that the event over the bridge was taking away all the sinners.  We decided to flex our plans and go over there.  When we turned the corner to the Coliseum, was I ever thankful we did go.  There was a two lines of hundreds with police stationed in one lane of the street.  We got set up on the median across from them and began to lift up our Savior.  Of course, when you have group of people that are obviously planning on sinning when you start hitting them with God’s Word they get a bit upset.  We all took turns preaching with a few sinners coming to speak with us one2one.  Kerrigan was dealing with two young men and one of them spit in his face.  Kerrigan went, got the police and they quickly arrested him!  That was really a great demonstration of law enforcement for the rest of the crowd.  We took turns showing them the truths of the Bible and the madness they were in by opposing God.  About 1 am a fight broke out amongst the sinners and the police had a dozen officers there in just a few minutes.  Very well coordinated and the perpetrator was quickly tazered, cuffed and the crowd quelled.  We decided to flee the mayhem and get Jesse back to his truck near Razzle’s.  As we approached we saw the Raven group was about our Father’s business with a ten-mile hailer.  Now, in the preaching business most everyone knows about a powerful little amplifier called the ‘half-mile’ hailer.  This horn that Brother Troy owns, has a 2.5 foot horn attached to a powerful amp.  This wonderful instrument is then mounted on a seven foot extra heavy duty mount.  It is absolutely beautiful to hear God’s Word being trumpeted above the chaos of the world’s noise.  I got really excited and Tracy and I decided to come back out after dropping off Kerrigan at the condo.  We returned and decided we would not carry bullhorns or banners, no need with the set up Raven had installed there in front of Razzle’s.  We grabbed a bunch of tracts and headed up there.  We did small groups most the rest of the night having great interactions with lots of drunkards of which I used to be a ‘chief’.  One of the young preachers got into a personal discussion while on the microphone so I decided I would ask if I could give the Mega-horn a try.  It was truly an awesome instrument to proclaim the beauty and majesty of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Thank you Lord!

03/10 am

Awoke to a beautiful sunny day that the Lord has made, and we were glad in it!  We were a bit wearied as we got back very late the night before about 3am.  Kerrigan had to take care of some business on the internet at McDonald’s wi-fi network.  He and I went there and praise the Lord as he worked He brought in hundreds of young people for breakfast.  I had a great time passing out tracts talking with a few people.  Of course they all admired my ‘Turn or Burn’ shirt with it’s bright fluorescent yellow color. I like to ‘highlight’ God’s Word. We finished up there and returned to condo to prepare for the day.  We got to the boardwalk and noticed many of the young people had migrated down the beach to a large hotel about 300 yards from our usual position.  We preached for a few hours with small crowds gathering.  A man named Dan, that we met the day before, showed up with his homeless friend Luke.  They are YHWH/Yehoshua believers, they engaged Tracy and I about these issues.  We explained that we were there to preach not to discuss these types of doctrines.  I let them know that I have studied this issue for about a year, and am willing to discuss this but not on the mission field.  They consumed about an hour of our precious preaching time disputing these false teachings.  I admonished them to start preaching if they believed they had the truth.  I don’t really want them to preach this nonsense but I also know that by challenging them to take these things to the lost, hopefully they will be shown by the Holy Spirit of their errors.  We moved down the beach to where all the sinners had migrated and decided to take the banners and bullhorn on the beach.  This was great as we found that we now were hitting the mark turning the beach upside down for a period of time.  I prayed as we walked that the Lord would protect us physically, especially from the dozens of footballs that were ‘innocently’ thrown to try and hit us.  Praise the Lord none of us got hit.  I picked up one ball and walked down the beach with it looking back to see who the owner was, but no one followed.  I rolled the ball back to the general area and the coward came out of the crowd to retrieve his ball.  There were some young Catholic girls dressed in strings that decided they would tell us how to preach, Kerrigan rebuked them sharply and they returned to their vainglory of sun tanning. We decided to go back up to the board walk and I began to lift up my voice asking the students which schools they attended.  There were a dozen students from WKU, where we regularly preach two to three times a semester.  Of course, they complain but many of them have begun to take a friendly attitude towards us.  They hate the preaching but deep down they know that we care for them.  I believe that our preaching though it may be fiery has lots of God’s love demonstrated and His grace manifested throughout.  There was a older man named Lenny who had joined us, he has been in touch with Kerrigan about open air preaching.  He seemed very reserved but I asked him if he would help me hold another bull horn in series that God’s Word would go forth with greater intensity.  After I was done preaching I asked him if he would have a go, encouraging him that God would fill his mouth with His Word.  He hesitated. But, praise the Lord, he decided to obey God in this matter.  I was very encouraged to see Lenny take this step of faith.  God did fill his mouth with the truths from the Bible.  I don’t think many Christians realize that by studying we are storing up His Word in our hearts.  God’s will is that His Word go forth in power by the Holy Spirit within us.  When we obey Him this way it strengthens our faith in most every area.  Jesse preached for a bit and drew a hostile crowd of a dozen or so students which would have turned into a good meeting if we had not run out of time.  We had to get back as Kerrigan had some dinner plans that he had made.  I got a message from the Assistant City Attorney stating that they had gotten the correspondence from PinPoint Evangelism.  He further stated that the city believed that we would need a permit to continue our amplification work.  I read through the city laws a few times and our legal letter to the city in preparation for my discussion with him. I called him and had a very cordial conversation with him.  We agreed that we still have the right to amplification but I understood the concern of disturbing residences that are about two blocks away outside the commercial district we are preaching.  I would find out later, he did not communicate this change to his subordinates in his chain of command.  I had invited Jesse and his family over for dinner and we had a great time of fellowship consuming another fine meal that Angela had made.  We rested for at bit waiting for Kerrigan to return.  We got back on the streets about 10 pm stationing ourselves across from Razzel’s.  Immediately the police grabbed Jesse by the arm to cite him for using amplification without any warning at all.  We spoke with Sgt. Mayes in depth and finally to his Lt. and we convinced them that we wanted to cooperate with them and obey the law. I called the city attorney, who promised us favor but did not send out another email concerning our situation. This took about 45 minutes of our precious time there on the streets.  We had known a new shift was taking over and expected we may have some transition trouble.  I asked the guys to start praying the Lord would break through this Sgt’s resistance to the work.  Praise the Lord, He delivered us through another trial.  It is very important to understand how we should deal with the police, watching your tone, presumptions, body language, etc.  Some police officers can be very prideful at times and if you get on their hit list it is hard to get favor with them now or in the future.  We got back to the preaching for about ½ an hour and the Raven crew showed up with their tower of power 10 mile hailer I described earlier.  I debriefed them about what had happened with us.  As we talked I realized that the police were probably trying to bully us into not using the small 7 watt amplifiers that we have.  The Raven horn is 50 watts with a very large horn which concentrates the sound signal for long range penetration into the noise of the world.  The young man Jared did not seem the least bit concerned, he explained that they go through this all the time but the district police chief gives them favor, and they would not have a problem.  Sure enough, his testimony was true about what the police would do.  It was great having the Word of God clearly preached to thousands as the passed through this wide gate to hell called Razzell’s.  I asked Tracy if he would like to tract the line with me, which he did.  We had dozens of great conversations with lots of sinners.  I even had a group of five Irish men get out of line, I hoped to go home and repent.  About 1 am we called it a night and retired for some rest from the battle for souls.

03/11 am

We awoke to severe rain and winds.  I began to pray the Lord would break the weather.  I found out later in the morning that Daytona and surrounding areas were under a tornado watch.  Bummer, but God is in charge and as I meditated upon the weather I realized the Lord was giving us some rest from the battle.  So, we relaxed and prayed that we would be able to get out to the battle that night. Kerrigan and I went to McDonald’s to check our email, I spoke to one of the worker’s there and she became very animated about us ‘judging’ everyone.  She stated that her cousin was a Christian preacher and a crack head.  Well, I tried to show her 1 John 2:3-4 and she stiffened her neck concerning his spiritual condition.  The Lord was really working on her, as I went to the bathroom I heard her talking with a co-worker about God.  Then when I returned I overheard her talking to a group of customers about God.  Unfortunately, she was defending sin instead of the gospel of Christ.

03/11 pm

We got out to Razzle’s about 9pm and the crowds were out!  It was obvious to me that they did not like being cooped up all day and were juiced for a night of revelry.  I began the preach using my truth horn to hit the sinners ears, hearts and minds with God’s truths.  I preached for about an hour while Tracy was doing some one2one work and Kerrigan was recording.  I gave my horn to Kerrigan after I got done in order to go drop my sweatshirt off at the car as it had gotten very warm.  I retrieved my sandwich board and proceeded to return.  As I got back to the clubs, I was lead to speak to a few women about their salvation.  One girl named Whitney came under such heavy conviction about her sin she began to cry.  She explained that she had been born again when she was younger and that she knew she was not living right.  I pleaded with her to return to salvation in Christ, to come out from amongst the wicked.  I spoke with them about ten minutes and realized I needed to get back to the workers.  I turned around and there was Kerrigan and Tracy they had come to check on me.  I praise God for fellow warriors for the Lord who look out for the safety and well being of the others.  What a bond there is between the laborers of the Lord’s white harvest field!   We returned to a street corner right next to Razzle’s which has lot’s of traffic between bars and we are able to strike up pretty good conversations.  There was a group of young people that stopped because they did not like Tracy’s sandwich board.  One of the young women began to curse Tracy, trying to kick him in the shins.  Tracy was kind of dodging the blows and she became frustrated with that, slapping him in the face.  I was trying to get my camera out, when her boyfriend slapped Tracy in the face twice!  I was flustered as my camera had gotten caught in my pocket and I got it out just in time to video them fleeing the scene of their crimes.  After this I noticed a young man who was sitting down on one of the rocks near the corner.  He was incredulous that people treated us this way, saying he had never seen anything like it.  He explained later that he had called his mother and was explaining everything to her.  He kept repeating, ‘I have never seen anything like this, they hate God’s Word.’  I realized he was under conviction about why he had come down there two nights in a row.  He disappeared into the night, I pray to go and seek God.  Raven had set up their tower of power to preach the gospel, which of course stirred up the crowds.  They could not escape the torment of having to listen to the truths Jesus taught without shame.  Tracy, Kerrigan and I hit the lines with tracts again.  I noticed lots were being thrown down, so I have started to conserve the few hundred that I have left for people I talk with who seem sincere or are at least sober.  I did notice something else, after 3 and ½ days of hard preaching even some of the lost were thanking us and encouraging us to keep doing what we were doing.  Isn’t that ironic?  They will disregard the gospel tract and their salvation; and then thank us in the same conversation.   We decided to call it a night about 12:30 am and headed back to the condo.  Praise the Lord, he had held off the rain that was predicted by men to show up at 11 pm.  I found out after I returned that one of the young preachers, Jesse, that was there on the streets had just been converted last year.  He was listening to our preaching while in line at Razzell’s then he went home and confessed his sin and trusted Jesus Christ as His Savior.  Hallelujah!  All heaven rejoices when one sinner repents.  I had met him in Mardi Gras last month.  Though I did not hear this story from him.  I knew he was very zealous, especially for preaching Jesus and Him crucified.  This was such an encouragement to me.  We often are discouraged by so many professing Christ asking, “How many people have you seen saved by your methods?”  My reply is, ‘This is God’s primary method of evangelism.  How many have been saved by your methods of hanging out with them while they sin?”

03/12 am

We awoke to another rainy overcast day, got some good prayer and studying.

I decided that the weather was not going to stop God’s Word being preached today.  As Tracy and I got there a young man, told me, ‘Hey it’s raining today, why don’t you guys take a break?’  This only fueled my zeal for his soul, I replied, “You won’t get a day off in hell, why should we take a day off because of some rain?’ This reply left him speechless and he walked off shaking his head.  A young woman behind me said, ‘That was rude.’  I told her many truths from the Bible seem rude.’  The carnal mind accepts not the teachings of my Master.  We went to the boardwalk and I began to preach with my voice bouncing off all the hundreds of patios of the major hotel chains here on the beach.  With the light rainfall the beach was very quiet except God’s Word was booming.  There were many hundreds within the mall and I am sure listening in their rooms.  We had a sinner come and confirm he could not relax in his hotel room because of the preaching penetrating his room.  Praise the Lord!  We also found out that tomorrow there would be a big BET event in the band shell from 2-4pm.  That’s great.  We will be able to preach to the crowds before the event when we plan to leave at 2pm to return home to our loved ones.  We returned to the condo, for rest, prayer, dinner, and preparations for the night of preaching ahead.

03/12 pm

We decided to get out early as we figured the students would be out early as they had been cooped up all day also.  We were wrong because it was very slow until about 09:30, I guess maybe they were exhausted from a week of harming themselves with drunken revelry and late nights.  Things did start to pick up while Tracy was preaching and he got some hecklers who were ‘Christians’ that were ignorant of God’s Word.  This is so common in America that no one seems to know which way is up or down.  We worked this particular street corner then moved across from Razzle’s as the line to preach had formed.  We took up our positions and Jesse preached for a bit.  Handing out tracts had really become almost fruitless as so many had already received, they did not desire, or they threw them away.  But, this was Friday night there were some local faces we had not seen during the week so I persisted.  We had a tow truck that began to heckle us with it’s alarm system.  The driver had posted his truck right behind our preaching then would turn the alarm on anytime Jesse would speak.  Suppression of the truth, this is the motto of the enemies of God.  We decided to move down the street a bit to get away from the noise and get a good angle on the crowd.  This worked well, and the driver got frustrated and left, Hallelujah!  Tracy took over the preaching for a bit, and Raven came and set up the tower of power where we had just been.  They began to preach, and Tracy and I went to work the lines with tracts.  Most, maybe 90% refused the offer of mercy from Jesus Christ presented on the tracts.  I took Kerrigan and Tracy back to the condo, I had decided to return to the work with Raven until they or the sinners called it a night.  I got back out there and as I arrived it was a downpour, but praise the Lord he stopped it before I got out of my car and we did not have rain again the rest of the night.  Bro Jesse had left for the night while we were gone also.  I worked one2one and small groups for the rest of the night preaching one last time on that wonderful instrument of God’s proclamation.  I believe Troy had that horn custom built for Bike Week.  The sinners had a very serious fight break out while I was preaching with someone getting hit over the head with a bottle multiple times.  I stopped preaching and waited patiently while the police and emt’s cleared the carnage.  What a great springboard to speak on murderous intentions of the heart, which had been so clearly demonstrated before us in front of the club.  I did this for about 45 minutes then they could stand it no longer and came and surrounded me and the horn stand, hanging on it and me.  I tried everything I knew to get them to stop and the police were just not participating in my protection so I choose to stop preaching and let them wander away into the night.  I turned the preaching over to a young preacher named Troy who is very gentle in his speaking with the sinners, even this did not help calm them down.  So they decided to pack up the horn before it was damaged.  Praise the Lord for Raven Ministries, they are faithful most every night to get out there with someone being a witness for the Lord Jesus who is worthy to receive souls for His glory.  About 3:30am I thought I better get going as I would have an early morning and a few hours of preaching on the beach before we were to leave.

03/13 am

We awoke before Kerrigan and Tracy about 08:30 am.  I am a pretty early riser having served in the Navy for 20 years working sometimes 14-16 hours a day and sleeping for a few hours.  I woke Bro Tracy and we began to get packed and clean the condo for our departure.  We got everything ship shape and out to the car just before 11am which was our plan.  We arrived at the boardwalk to find the BET event at the band shell had been completely set up and was just awaiting the 2pm start time.  We decided to take a walk on the beach with Tracy preaching first.  We had a nice preach walk with many heckling us as we proclaimed God’s truths.  Kerrigan preached for awhile, the sinners will ‘innocently’ throw footballs and Frisbees at us while we do this work.  Kerrigan got hit in the leg and Tracy almost in the head.  Of course the sinners think this is great fun, but it won’t be funny on judgment day if they will not repent.  We got back over to the band shell area and noticed a line of people lining up for the BET event so Kerrigan began to preach to the line to much consternation of the wicked.  He worked there for about ten minutes when the Beach patrol showed up with a noise ordinance which does not allow amplifiers.  There were exemptions on the bottom of this particular law but they would not get them for me.  They explained that it would be okay if we went to the boardwalk as that was city jurisdiction.   Kerrigan and Tracy went up and I attempted to deal with him some more asking him to call his Lt. which he did.  He showed up I explained our positions and he agreed we could use it as long as it was not heard over 50 feet.  At this point I realized that Kerrigan and Tracy had a good meeting going and I wanted to get up there to get some good photos.  I thanked them and the beach patrol left.  I got up to the boardwalk with Kerrigan crying aloud to them for quite some time.  I preached next talking about the wickedness of gangster rap, drugs, fornication, and drunkenness.  These were the primary sins these students were living in.  I wanted to make it personal and ensure they knew their crimes were an offense to God.   Exposing sin and testifying about the justice and love of God are very important issues that the Christian must address to the lawless.  Jay and Paula Gilbert of Sin is a Choice ministries showed up.  We had a few brief minutes of fellowship before we left and they would take over where we left off the proclamations.  We wrapped up for the day heading back to our car.  Praise God we got to see Jesse and Krista as God coordinated our meeting just before we left.  Then we prayed up and began our 12 hour journey back to our beloved families and Kentucky.
