Marshall University Hates Us Back and They Are Sorry!

by John McGlone 09/27/17

This is a letter from one of the ‘loving’ Christians on Marshall University who has seen our preaching these last two days with Br. Zachary Humphrey and myself.  They loved us so much they called us niggahs, threatened us with bodily harm, stole my camera, sexually harassed us, blew multiple saxophones most of the day for both days in an attempt to shut down our freedom to speak and be heard, lied and slandered about us,  and had the audacity to call us bigoted, racist, and unloving.

The charge that one of us said, “…one of the preachers telling a Freshman that she was “asking to be raped”.” is in light of that bisexual exposing her breasts and tempting the preacher with taunting asking if her deserving to be raped.  Zachary called out the bisexual’s wicked fruit of her ‘Christian’ life.   He replied that her immodesty was a way of provoking men on campus to rape her.  I’ll let Zachary give his testimony  if he would like to clarify or if I have miscommunicated.

Below, is the imbalanced view and poor communication of one of the students from Marshall U

A Letter to Marshall University.

  1. Sir, the only thing we share in common is a love for Christ. Allow me to ask you something, what do you get out of spreading hate? Obviously, I’m going to assume your message was to try and get people to follow Christ, but who would want to follow a God who they believe has disdain for them. God does not hate anyone; he sorrows at the sin that people committ, but that does not mean he loves us any less. Christianity is about love and acceptance. If you had a child who did wrong would you love him any less? I would hope not; I love when I see more people come to Christ but spreading hate and shoving it down others throats is not how you go about it. And before you make liberal assumptions, I am a conservative republican and you have disappointed me John. Review yourself before hatefully judging others, I sin, you sin, we all sin, but it’s God’s forgiveness that strives us to try for better.

    • Can you share some Scriptures to back up your opinion that:
      1. God does not hate
      2. We all sin everyday
      3. You can change God’s Word to mean something it doesn’t?

      Thank you.

          • Don’t ever call anyone a coward, you religious jerk. You and Zachary not only bashed on the student body, but you also said disrespectful things about those who were killed in the plane crash of 1970. Apparently, you have not watched the movie “We Are Marshall.” So get lost and DON”T EVER CALL ANYONE A COWARD.

By the way, I DO go to Church and “Gangsta Rap” is the real devil.

          • Stop being a commie you coward! Stop being a jerk about me being a religious jerk you hypocrite. I thought about the students that died in 1070, I hope that they were all ready for Jesus, but God said MOST will not inherit the Kingdom.
I’m not lost I am found in Jesus and I will call people cowards if I think they prove themselves to be. Going to church is apparently not helping your thinking very much.

      • About hating others:
John 4: 20-” If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
        About EVERYONE sinning, daily:
John 1:8 – “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ”

Quoted from the king james version. Also; no, I did not edit them at all.

DELETED ALL YOUR HOMO references you will not promote that filth here.

I used to be a christian, until i met assholes like you.

          • Yes. You do realize though that every one of Jesus’s desciples sinned against him. Most of them were saved. Peter was one of Jesus closest friends and he still messed up and was forgiven. It is obvious that Christians still sin. To say that we don’t is ignorant. We do our best not to but we do. Why else would Paul say in Romans that he does the things he does not want to do but what he hates?

          • What did Paul say in Rom 6:1-2 & 8:1-2? Is the apostle like schizoid or is there another explanation you haven’t ever been taught or thought about?

  2. 1 John 2: 9 -11 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

    • Olivia,
All of the hatred you students at Marshall U. claim we have based on tough words we use is based on the idea that we cannot rebuke, chide, upbraid, or chasten sin either generally or directly as we preached hundreds of Bible verses on your campus for two days. The fact that MOST of you, including ‘Christians’, don’t know the Bible only shows your ignorance of the topics we were speaking about. Here is an example.
1 Jn 3:7-10 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

So it is easily understood, esp. in vs 10 that whoever does not right, ie sin, does not love his brother. But, EVERYONE practically on campus says we ALL sin everyday. So, by logical deduction, you could understand that your sin proves you neither love God nor your fellow students. Repent or perish!
      Regards,
      John

      • “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.”
        ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:4-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
        http://bible.com/111/1jn.3.4-6.niv
You see sir, what this is saying is that will not continue to make the conscious effort to sin. We will learn from our sins and move past them. It does not mean we will never sin

        • 1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

  3. 1 John 4:19-21
“We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”

How dare you call yourselves Christians yet spew hate at students. If you can not love us, how dare you say you love the Lord. You are not following him, but the work of someone who wishes to push false words of our God onto those around us.

    • Ash,
Why hate the hate? How dare you? Where do you get any standard of morality as a devil worshiper?

  4. . . . You and Zach screamed at students, calling them “Whores”, “Terrorists”, “Fat”, and the like. There is video evidence of all of this. Those students were counter-protesting you – they have the right to tell you your message isn’t welcome, just like you have the right to tell your message. From your “About Us” profile, you rely mostly on your own sad story and bits of “hellfire” scripture passages – AKA personal anecdotes and cherrypicking, which are both logical fallacies in making an argument. You then use the student’s counter-protesting to show how “wicked” the world is, how the world “hates you,” and use that to justify coming back and belittling students. Victimizing yourself is how hellfire preachers get their fuel – doesn’t that say something about your message? You can’t possibly be wrong, never mind the fact that biblical scholars – people who have read the original texts in their original languages and can translate them – disagree with most of your teachings (hell is eternal punishment, Jesus is coming back because the Rapture hasn’t happened yet, and more) – no, going to a campus to get the biggest audience where you don’t try to have a discussion with students – you use a megaphone to try to be louder than them – is the best way to you. Those counter-protesters tried talking to you. You threw their messages out the door as if they didn’t talk to you at all – that’s why they aren’t holding back. This negative attention is just pushing people away from your form of religion faster. The fact that you need to preach about an all-knowing, all-powerful god shows that the god is none of those things. It wouldn’t need you.

  5. Also, “. . . had the audacity to call us bigoted, racist, and unloving” UM YOU CALLED MUSLIM STUDENTS THAT TALKED TO YOU TERRORISTS, IF YOU DON’T SEE HOW THAT ISN’T THE MOST OBNOXIOUS STEREOTYPICAL RACIST THING TO SAY THEN YOU HAVE SOME ISSUES YOU GOTTA WORK OUT.

    • Yep, I am almost sixty and my age has caught up with me. I don’t usually overeat, but have a sweet tooth for sure, my family has diabetes problems.

In regards to Muslims, they are the MOST hateful false religion on the planet! They murder hundreds of thousands of Christians and other Kifar every year! Quran teaches to slay the infidel if they will not submit to Sharia law.

Why hate the hate? How dare you? Where do you get any standard of morality as a devil worshiper?

      • Christians did a lot of killing to in the name of religion – the Library of Alexandria, Crusades, Inquisition (torture for this one, too!), the fate of the Native Americans. Just a few examples out of the many. Not to mention there are several individuals who kill in the name of Christianity today. Just like there are kind Muslims, Christians, Atheists, etc. there are unkind ones. Moral, huh? I do not worship the devil – he’s as fictional as Yaweh. I know to you that means I do not follow your brand of Christianity and therefore I am on the devil’s side, but I do not actively worship the devil (or anything). What you did is the logical fallacy of generalization – assume somebody who falls under a large demographic possesses the same traits as the select few of that group. You commit this fallacy a lot in your arguments and speeches – generalize.

          • No True Scotsman fallacy. Man, this is like practicing for a college philosophy test – name and point out the logical fallacies! Great practice for me.

          • The no true scotsman fallacy is a way of reinterpreting evidence in order to prevent the refutation of one’s position. Proposed counter-examples to a theory are dismissed as irrelevant solely because they are counter-examples, but purportedly because they are not what the theory is about.

Your original bald assertion that Christians are killers like the Muslims because of the crusades is the ideological problem here. That is called false equivalence and is a logical fallacy in which two opposing arguments appear to be logically equivalent when in fact they are not. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency.

True Christians don’t obey the devil and kill people like the Muslims and the Crusaders.

          • Ah! Here we go! I appreciate the thought put into this comment. No true Scotsman fallacy is when you dismiss a member of a group because they “aren’t real”. You can’t distinguish who is a “true scotsmen” without going off on a separate tangent – you could continually point fingers. From there a strawman argument can be put up and distract from the point. Next point: How is it that the Crusades and what Muslim extremists are doing are falsely equivalent? They are killing large amounts of “heathens” in the name of a deity. Not the same methods or religion, but nonetheless. Christianity cannot throw out their acts of terrorism and assimilation like the Crusades, the burning of the library of Alexandria, the Inquisition, and the like. Normally, you could simply say “We now see we were wrong, and will do better next time,” but a religion that claims to be THE moral standard with an omniscient, benevolent, all-powerful diety should not have such blemishes on their record. The bald head simile I used was to demonstrate that your threat of eternal damnation and calling me a sinner has no effect of intimidating me. You will have to convince me – through empirical evidence, rational conclusions and deductions, that your position is valid, just like any other religion, just like any other argument or act of persuasion.

          • You appeal to empiricism? Where did that come from in your naturalistic worldview? What about a moral standard which is immaterial, abstract, and intelligent?

          • I’m not sure I understand what you mean. Empiricism is understanding our environment through repeatable tests; that knowledge comes from our sensory experience. It is tangible in that sense. Morality is an ideological part of our experience – it is ALWAYS immaterial and abstract. The actions are not, but morality itself is. As for intelligence, that suggests that there is something intelligent doing all of this, which you suggest you subscribe to through your theistic worldview. If you hold onto a view of theism AND objective morality, then you must admit that this intelligent being has some “rules” that govern it, not the other way around; something else tells the being how to act, which means it is not all-powerful and possibly not all-knowing. You end up with a logical contradiction. Before we get any deeper, recall the Epicurus Problem of Evil: “Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” This issue is something theists have never to this day comfortably and honestly gotten around, though many have valiantly tried.

          • I will have to answer your points later…going to yell at College brats about Jesus for the next three days for 5 hours per day.

          • Jesus said you must come by child like faith. Where is the wisdom of this world? The disputer of this age? The Apostle Paul asks… then he goes on to explain that the wise of this world will be confounded by foolish things that God will use to blind them in their own sin.

You weren’t really answering my point about empiricism. If logic and morality are abstract and immaterial then how can you use natural science which does not account for such ideas prove or disprove these concepts? If you can’t disprove these obvious characteristics in mankind, how do you explain it?

    • Most of you were…bigoted, racist, and unloving by your statements, suppressing our speech, cursing us, calling us niggahs, and even stealing our property! Shame on Marshall University…Herd the Goats into Hell! Only the sheep will hear the voice of the Shepherd Jesus Christ and enter the Kingdom of God!

      • Hmm no I think I would use the term “racist” to describe someone who calls a person of color the n-word lmao. Aka you, bub

        • Anna, I did not use the ‘nigga’ word first. A group of various shades and colors of young men were saying things like, “We gonna fu@k this nigga up!” Repeatedly and in differing ways. I responded with, “Don’t use that word nigga as some people will get offended.” Sure enough here you are complaining and lyao about it. I was addressing their wrong use of the word. Some of them wore their pants off their buttocks showing their underwear, this is gross lewdness. What do I expect of your generation? REPENT!

      • Now, stealing your property, threatening violence, and name-calling you is not okay, either. The peaceful counter-protestors will keep on you as long as you keep being hateful on the Marshall Campus, but they have been telling people not to hurt you or take your things in retaliation.

  6. Wow I didn’t know breasts, a biological function designed to feed babies, were inherently sexual! I also didn’t know men couldn’t control their thoughts and they have such mommy issues they can’t differentiate between something that feeds babies and a sexual organ. Hm.

    • The men could control themselves concerning the baby bottles every woman is blessed by God to be created with. Why do women allow men to suck their baby bottles, their groins which are sperm, baby highways and urine hoses? I know, I know…it feels good!

  7. Matthew 6:5-15 “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” By all means do I encourage spreading the word of god, but instead of shouting at them in the streets calling them whores, terrorists, and sinners and insulting them in the streets when these people (who most are full grown adults by this point) are focused more on completing their assignment for the day or heading to their next lecture, instead invite them to your gatherings and preach to them in God’s church. You may have spoke on public property, but that does not give you the right to insult others when they have other stresses. Instead of being a cause of stress, why not create a place that allows people to repent their sins and invite them to it? You shout and scream that we are all going to hell, but you’re not giving them a solution if you do nothing but shout. I am not seeking for you to completely change your belief, but I ask for you to reconsider and look at how you’re delivering your message. Like I said, invite them into the house of god and preach instead of being the buffoon that shouts in the streets not delivering god’s intent.

      • Fully aware of that, what the point I was demonstrating is that you shouldn’t be preaching out in public instead bring together and pray in the house of the lord or in the privacy of your home.

        • No, I don’t think you thought of that because you would have mentioned it originally. Don’t try and backpeddle and steal our bible concepts. You presumed we were praying which is why you posted what you did. I straightened you out and you’re so proud you can’t admit you were wrong. smh

  8. BUH I GOT WET AFTER WALKING IN WATER

What did you expect walking into a campus that supports gays and other things. I also have VIDEO PROOF of all the things you said you didn’t do…so there’s that.

    You “poor victimized baby”

  9. I asked if you wanted to be a part of our drive to find those with cancer a bone marrow donor match. If we’re in the business of improving lives, I’m not quite sure why I was so rudely shooed away.

    • I donate no; body parts, sperm, saliva, dna, to no organization. What God gave me I will keep. Thanks. I have freewill,

  10. I think one thing that would help clarify. Not everybody is our brother and sister. Only those who are born again of the Holy Spirit are actually a Christians “brothers and sisters”. those that are not born again and saved are children of the devil, not of God. this is implied in the fact that in Romans 8 the Holy Spirit is called the “spirit of adoption whereby we cry out abba Father”. a child of the devil is not yet adopted to God the Father, does not have the spirit of the Son, so that man/woman cannot call God his/her father or Christians their “brother or sister”.

  11. the same thing is implied when Jesus gave conditions to who was considered his brothers/sisters “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother”, (Matthew 12:50, mark 3:35). there are conditions to being related to Christ. all men are the creation of God (Colossians 1:16), but not all men are the children of God (1 John 3:8-11), hence we preach to see men “reconciled to God” (Colossians 1:28)

    • Simply historical, social, and religious evidences rejected by the freewill that God gave you. How do you learn anything?

  12. Lets get one thing straight, you and Zachary Humphrey crossed the line when one of you touched a female student inappropriately. Then you went so far to saying the “N Word” to some of the International students and called them evil.

The truth is not all of them are terrorists, they left their “war torn” countries for one thing, earning an education. Also, all of us are not going to burn and die.

So now I have a challenge for you, Marshall plays WKU in basketball and here is the challenge: If Marshall wins, you and/or Zachary Humphrey must apologize for you actions this past September. If WKU wins, then brother Humphrey comes back in the spring.

Do we have a deal, yes or no?
